Malta has always been a focal point for recipes derived and imported from all over the Mediterranean.  It is therefore appropriate that Malta host this festival where one is given the chance to savour a variety of Mediterranean food and experience a cross-fertilisation of culinary information through food tasting and the expertise of foreign and local chefs.
