A two-day festival leading to the selection
of the Maltese entry for the Eurovision Song
Contest.

Held in Valletta, Floriana and other villages, as
well as Gozo - a feast of joyful participation and
grotesque floats.

At the Argotti Gardens, Floriana
- a jamboree of local and Mediterranean
folk singing and music.

FESTIVAL MALTA 05 June September
MALTA JAZZ FESTIVAL 3rd weekend of July
Three nights of jazz played by world
renowned players within the unique
setting of Grand Harbour, Valletta.
VICTORY DAY 7th and 8th September
The commemoration of victory celebrations in
565 and 1943 with a regatta at
Grand Harbour, Valletta.
INDEPENDENCE CONCERT September
Commemorating Maltas acquisition of
Independence on the 21st September, 1964.
The concert will be preceded by Pontifical High
Mass at St Johns Co-Cathedral, Valletta.
JUNIOR SONG FOR EUROPE September
A festival of songs written by under 15 year
-olds leading to the selection of a Maltese song
which will represent Malta in the Junior
Eurovision Song Contest.
REPUBLIC DAY 13th December
Commemoration of Malta becoming a
Republic, in Valletta.
CHRISTMAS ACTIVITIES December
Popular celebrations of the birth of Christ
in Valletta and villages
